Grinding stone

A whetstone is an excellent way to sharpen your knives. You can use the sharpening stone for your normal garden knives, but also on your kitchen knives. First, use the rough side to sharpen the knife to smooth out unevenness and any nicks. You can use the fine side to polish the knife blade, so that it becomes really sharp. Our whetstones are supplied with a holder which ensures that they stand firmly on the table you use for grinding. Grinding stones are most commonly used at home, and you rarely take them out into the field. Remember to soak the whetstone for at least 15 minutes before you start grinding.
